5cb45181d7 libcamera: camera_sensor: Sort factories by priority
In order to support a default implementation for camera sensors when no
better implementation matches, libcamera needs to try "specialized"
implementations first and pick the default last. Make this possible by
adding a priority value for factories. Newly registered factories are
inserted in the factories list sorted by descending priority, and the
default factory uses a negative priority to be inserted as the last
element.

This mechanism may be a bit overkill in the sense that there is no
expected use cases for priorities other than trying the default last,
but the implementation is simple and easy to understand.

aee7f8207e libcamera: camera_sensor: Create abstract base class
With a camera sensor factory in place, the next step is to create an
abstract base class that all camera sensors implement, providing a
uniform API to pipeline handler. Turn all public functions of the
CameraSensor class into pure virtual functions, and move the
implementation to the CameraSensorLegacy class.

Part of the code is likely worth keeping as common helpers in a base
class. However, to follow the principle of not designing helpers with a
single user, this commit moves the whole implementation. Common helpers
will be introduced later, along with other CameraSensor subclasses.

626172a16b libcamera: Drop file name from header comment blocks
Source files in libcamera start by a comment block header, which
includes the file name and a one-line description of the file contents.
While the latter is useful to get a quick overview of the file contents
at a glance, the former is mostly a source of inconvenience. The name in
the comments can easily get out of sync with the file name when files
are renamed, and copy & paste during development have often lead to
incorrect names being used to start with.

Readers of the source code are expected to know which file they're
looking it. Drop the file name from the header comment block.

The change was generated with the following script:

----------------------------------------

dirs="include/libcamera src test utils"

declare -rA patterns=(
	['c']=' \* '
	['cpp']=' \* '
	['h']=' \* '
	['py']='# '
	['sh']='# '
)

for ext in ${!patterns[@]} ; do
	files=$(for dir in $dirs ; do find $dir -name "*.${ext}" ; done)
	pattern=${patterns[${ext}]}

	for file in $files ; do
		name=$(basename ${file})
		sed -i "s/^\(${pattern}\)${name} - /\1/" "$file"
	done
done
----------------------------------------

This misses several files that are out of sync with the comment block
header. Those will be addressed separately and manually.

85befa816e libcamera: Remove transform from V4L2SubdeviceFormat
Commit 6f6e1bf704 ("libcamera: camera_sensor: Apply flips at
setFormat()") extended the CameraSensor::setFormat() function
to apply vertical/horizontal flips on the sensor based on the
supplied Transform. To pass the Transform to the function the
V4L2SubdeviceFormat structure has been augmented with a Transform
member.

However as the newly added Transform is not used at all in the
V4L2Subdevice class, it should not be part of V4L2SubdeviceFormat.

Fix that by removing the transform field from V4L2SubdeviceFormat
and pass it as an explicit parameter to CameraSensor::setFormat().

a18c9f0490 libcamera: camera_sensor: Transform CameraSensor::sizes()
In CameraSensor, the mbusCodes() and sizes() accessor functions
retrieves all the supported media bus codes and the supported sizes
respectively. However, this is quite limiting since the caller
probably isn't in a position to match which range of sizes are
supported for a particular mbusCode.

Hence, the caller is most likely interested to know about the sizes
supported for a particular media bus code. This patch transforms the
existing CameraSensor::sizes() to CameraSensor::sizes(mbuscode) to
achieve that goal.

The patch also transforms existing CIO2Device::sizes() in IPU3 pipeline
handler to CIO2Device::sizes(PixelFormat) on a similar principle. The
function is then plumbed to CameraSensor::sizes(mbusCode) to enumerate
the per-format sizes as required in
PipelineHandlerIPU3::generateConfiguration().

96aecfe365 libcamera: camera_sensor: Use active area size as resolution
When a sensor can upscale the image, the native sensor resolution isn't
equal to the largest size reported by the sensor. Use the active area
size instead, and default it to the largest enumerated size if the crop
rectangle targets are not supported.

d7fd40ea2b libcamera: camera_sensor: Add frame length limits to CameraSensorInfo
Sensor frame length is made up of active and inactive (blanking) lines.
The minimum and maximum frame length values may be used by pipeline
handlers to limit frame durations based on the sensor mode capabilities.

Store the minimum and maximum allowable frame length values (in lines)
in the CameraSensorInfo structure. These values are computed in
CameraSensor::sensorInfo() by querying the sensor subdevice
V4L2_CID_VBLANK control limits. This in turn means that V4L2_CID_VBLANK
is now a mandatory subdevice control.

The VIMC driver does not yet support all the features required

as the sensor resolution.

125ee6ddd6 libcamera: camera_sensor: Provide fall-back for sensor properties
Support for the V4L2 selection API is currently optional in the
CameraSensor class. Properties registered by using values read through
that API are defaulted in several different places (the Android camera
HAL or the CameraSensor class).

In the future support for the selection API will be made mandatory, but to
give time to sensor drivers in all test platforms to be updated, use
sensor resolution as fallback values for sensor pixel array properties
and cache them as class member variables.

8502d4c52d libcamera: camera_sensor: Validate driver support
The CameraSensor class requires the sensor driver to report
information through V4L2 controls and through the V4L2 selection API,
and uses that information to register Camera properties and to
construct CameraSensorInfo class instances to provide them to the IPA.

Currently, validation of the kernel support happens each time a
feature is requested, with slighly similar debug/error messages
output to the user in case a feature is not supported.

Rationalize this by validating the sensor driver requirements in a
single function
