a5bd38fc19 **** Merged from HEAD **** 
Use `(1L << feature)' instead of `(1 << feature)' to avoid problems
with integer overflows when we add more fields.

Well, it compiles without problems but not all features are currently
working; need to look a little bit closer at it.

Ok for now, think I'll install OpenBSD and test it there ...
