Emil Velikov d637fea1e7 tools: remove dubious CR and SUBJECT handling 
CR is (seemingly) unused, while the SUBJECT cannot be multi-line, so the
xargs doesn't do anything.

Feed the (base) filename as yet another token and do read from stdin for
