new solution > We will not show the footer preference in the beginning when users entering the app, it will wait until the data is loaded to show the footer and app item in the same time. Remove android:textColorHint from Theme.Settings to fix the regression.
This is a quick fix, each EditText should set its hintTextColor
attribute before there is a fix to apply the attribute globally in
Settings APP.

Since the color of text was using material dark color from material
theme, which is different from the one in Settings. Removing the text
color specified in the style can fix this problem.
